About Me
I grew up in Fairfax, VA and studied at UVA for undergrad and medical studies. I completed my internal medicine residency at UNC Chapel Hill. Later, I pursued a research fellowship at Duke University before working as an academic hospitalist in northern Virginia for 15 years.
Through strategic real-estate investments I was able to to achieve financial independence at 43. Many colleagues and friends asked me to help them on their path to financial independence, which led me to co-found Viking Capital Investments alongside my business partner, Vikram Raya. Over the years, we’ve grown exponentially and are on track to amass a $1 billion real estate portfolio. Our accomplishments include recognition from Inc. 5000 as one of the fastest-growing companies, and we’re proud members of the Forbes Business Council. We’ve successfully helped numerous physicians and investors attain passive income beyond their 9-5 jobs.
I am deeply passionate about promoting vitality, longevity, and embracing a wholesome, vibrant lifestyle that considers the impact of our surrounding environment on our health. This passion led me to create Peak Health, a platform where I bring these principles to life and help others achieve their health and wellness goals.
Outside of work, I’m a dedicated father to two amazing children who continually surpass my expectations and bring joy to my life. I love coaching my children’s basketball and soccer teams and engaging in environmental sustainability initiatives. My hobbies include reading, traveling, and cherishing quality moments with family and friends. Finally, I am humbled to have recently received Fairfax County’s Distinguished Graduate Award for entrepreneurship and philanthropy, an honor bestowed upon only a handful of graduates out of 180,000 per year.
